MOD Pizza: Be Extra
What we saw : Being Extra is seen as a bad thing. It means being obnoxious, an overdramatic theatre kid, and a loud mouth.
What we did : We made being extra a good thing. At MOD Pizza being extra is encouraged on every single advertising execution. You can get all the toppings you want, you can get extra, you can get two billboards instead of one. We encourage big swings and big bites — so go ahead, stuff that loud mouth with some pizza.
What I did : I worked as a copywriter on this spec campaign for MOD Pizza.

The MOD TikTok Challenge will encourage people to create the “Most Extra Pizza Possible” at their local MOD. There are no rules – put every meat topping, make a vegetable garden on that sauce, or even get creative with some cake. Well, I guess there is one rule: BE EXTRA.
