V8: Don’t Hate

What we saw : People who hated veggies as kids often grow up to be adults who hate vegetables.

What we did : We appealed to the picky adults by calling to their inner child. That little voice in the back of their head that still whines about eating a spear of asparagus or a slice of tomato. Imagine if there was an easier way to digest those veggies, a quick gulp that you can chase with a chicken finger. That cheat is V8.

What I did : I formed the insight, campaign concept, copy and some art direction for this spec campaign for V8 juice.

Oh no. All I’ve got left in the fridge are vegetables.

Maybe it’s time to try broccoli again…

YUCK. I can’t do this.

At least older me could do one thing right, I’ve got some V8!

I guess I did grow up to be a little smarter after all.
